The first Jamaican semi-finalist of the LVMH Prize (an award that recognizes emerging fashion designers) in 2023, Rachel Scott aims to break the stereotype that luxury fashion can only come from Europe. She is best known for her hand-detailed tailoring, as well as her use of crochet, which links to the fishing and tourism industries in Jamaica.
